RR vs KKR Highlights: Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have opened their account of victory in IPL 2025. KKR on Wednesday hoisted the victory flag against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 8 wickets. KKR had lost to RCB in the first match but the team returned to the winning track in the very next match. RR gave a target of 152 runs at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, which KKR easily chased in 17.3 overs for the loss of two wickets. KKR wicketkeeper-batsman Quinton de Kock batted stormily. He scored an unbeaten 97 runs in 61 balls with the help of 8 fours and 6 sixes.

While chasing the target, De Kock scored runs at a fast pace. However, Moeen Ali’s bat did not work. Both shared a 41-run partnership for the first wicket. Moeen was run out in the seventh over after scoring 5 runs in 12 balls. At the same time, captain Ajinkya Rahane got caught in the trap of Vanindun Hasaranga in the 11th over. Rahane added 18 runs in 15 balls.

After this, De Kock took the front with Raghuvanshi. Both of them shared an unbroken partnership of 83 runs for the third wicket. KKR needed 17 runs in the last three overs. For KKR, Varun Chakraborty, Moeen Ali, Harshit Rana and Vaibhav Arora took two wickets each while Spencer Johnson got one wicket. RR has lost the second consecutive match.
